Team #5 after their championship win on Sunday
The Five Towns Basketball League Junior Division held its championship game this past Sunday, when the two top teams played each other. The game was competitive, well played, and the most exciting game of the season.
Team #5 went into the game undefeated but found itself losing 12-6 going into the fourth quarter, as both teams clamped down defensively. The team remained focused and composed, and did not move away from their offensive approach, which involved brisk passing to find an open man. Once the final quarter started, Team #5 went on a 6-point run and sent the game into overtime; eventually, they took the lead for good to win the championship. v
