Shalom Torah Academy is proud to announce the recent hiring of Mr. Josh Pruzansky to serve as senior director of institutional advancement.

Mr. Pruzansky comes with 28 years of experience of working for the Jewish community serving as executive director of several educational institutions, including the Yeshiva of the Telshe Alumni, Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva, and Partners in Torah, and as cofounder of Yeshiva Me’on HaTorah.

For the past nine years, he has spent his time advocating in Trenton for increased government funding for nonpublic education as the director of the New Jersey office of the Orthodox Union’s TEACH NJS and prior to that serving in the same capacity as the New Jersey director of Agudath Israel of New Jersey.

Shalom Torah Centers, founded by Rav Shneur Kotler, zt’l, has been providing a quality Jewish and general-studies education to the children of Central New Jersey for over 40 years.

The board of directors, under the leadership of chairman Leon Goldenberg, has vigorously renewed their commitment to the success of Shalom Torah with the encouragement of Rav Shmuel Kaminetsky, shlita, rosh ha’yeshiva of the Philadelphia Yeshiva, and Rav Dovid Schustal, shlita, rosh ha’yeshiva at Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood.

Mr. Pruzansky will be tasked with advancing the mission and vision of Shalom Torah within the Central New Jersey region, across the state, and throughout the country. Shalom Torah is more than a Jewish day school, important enough in its own right, but a Jewish way of life for the thousands of members of our community who live in its proximity.

“Working together with executive director Rabbi Nachman Greenwald, principal Mrs. Aviva Hoberman, a dedicated, talented, and vibrant staff, as well as highly motivated lay leaders, I look forward to tremendous success in helping Shalom Torah Academy grow into the next phase of its mission,” Josh says.

Mr. Goldenberg summed it up by stating: “We wish Josh much mazal, and we are excited to work with him to make Shalom Torah a great success.”
